Candidaturas abertas para a 4.ª edição do PechaKucha Night Guimarães.

A 4.ª e derradeira edição de 2012 do PechaKucha Night Guimarães está a chegar! É já no próximo dia 03 de novembro. Se queres fazer parte do elenco de oradores não percas a tua oportunidade e candidata-te entre 19 e 26 de setembro .

O Núcleo de Arquitectos da Região de Braga (NARB) e Guimarães 2012 Capital Europeia da Cultura são os responsáveis pelo evento que conta com a coordenação dos arquitetos José Martins e João Rosmaninho.
O PKN-SERIES consiste num ciclo de apresentações onde cada orador prepara uma intervenção pública com o tempo exato de seis minutos e quarenta segundos.

Cada orador tem três únicas modalidades de apresentação:
– Conjunto de 20 imagens projetadas com 20 segundos de duração cada uma, ou seja, o formato original, designado “20×20″ (sob extensão PPT ou KEY);
– Conjunto de imagens animadas, com os mesmos 20 segundos por imagem (sob extensão GIF, ou outra);
– Filme/vídeo com a duração máxima de 6 minutos e 40 segundos (sob extensão MOV, MP4, ou outra).

O período de apresentação de candidaturas para participar no PechaKucha Night Guimarães #04 está a decorrer até ao dia 26 de setembro de 2012.
As candidaturas deverão ser enviadas para o e-mail pechakucha.guimaraes@gmail.com com a seguinte informação:
1- Nome e contactos (e-mail e telefone);
2- Área criativa e website (se for o caso);
3- Breve texto da apresentação (com o máximo de 150 palavras);
4- Quatro imagens que ilustrem e permitam enquadrar a apresentação.

We are back!

The application season is open to the fourth PechaKucha Night Guimarães.

The fourth and last 2012 edition of PechaKucha Night Guimarães is coming! It will be on the 3^rd November. If you want to take part of the cast of speakers don’t miss this opportunity and apply for it from 19^th to 26^th September.

The “Núcleo de Arquitectos da Região de Braga” (NARB - Core of Architects from the region of Braga ) and Guimarães 2012 Capital Europeia da Cultura( Guimarães 2012 European Capital of Culture) are the responsible of the event that counts on the coordination of the architects José Martins and João Rosmaninho.

The PKN-SERIES consists on a cycle of presentation where each speaker prepares a public intervention containing the exact time of six minutes and forty seconds.

Each speaker should prepare a public presentation (6’:40’’) using visual elements choosing one of three modes:

- A sequence of twenty images with twenty seconds’ lasting  each (the original format called “20x20”)

- A succession of animated images according to the rule “20x20”;

- A 6’:40” lasting movie/video (using extensions MOV, MP4 or other)  

Tha apllication time in order to participate on PechaKucha Night Guimarães #04 is happening till 26^th September 2012.

1- Name and contacts (e-mail and telefone);

2- Creative area + website (if there is any)

3- A brief presentation text (with the maximum size of 150 words)

4- Three/four pictures that illustrate and frame the presentation (jpg extension e.g.)
