Para o Volume 8, o PechaKucha Night preparou uma dúzia de apresentações poderosas, onde imagem e palavra disputam a atenção do público que sempre esteve lá, do público que aparece pela primeira vez, e do público que o é sem querer (mas que não se vai esquecer). O PechaKucha nasceu em Tóquio no ano de 2003 e, atualmente, está presente em 782 cidades em todo o mundo, incluindo Porto, Coimbra, Tomar, Portalegre, Lisboa, Portimão, Faro e Fundão. A ideia de aliar o poder ilimitado das imagens ao “som da conversa” materializa-se em apresentações de 20 imagens apresentadas durante 20 segundos cada, num total de 6 minutos e 40 segundos de ideias provocadoras e excitantes!
